so we moved.... to a darling house with a red door, trellis over the one door, unusable garage and large fence for Huck. Life is good, and after a week of striving to live like the perfect housewife, it is back to normal.
We have dishes in the sink, clothes on the floor (less than normal though, baby steps) and the remains of Huck's toys shredded through out the living room. The everyday chaos makes me calm and cozy. However, I have channeled my inner domestic goddess with the purchase of yellow rubber gloves!
I have been a lover of aprons since way back, but mostly use them to hang to add color or for it to just seem like I wear them. Lately though I have been wearing the heck out of them and accessorizing them with my gloves. I love it. I've discovered productive grown-up dress up.
Who knows what is possible for me next... given the right attire.
